I did a lot of HDTV research before I chose this Panasonic TC-P42X1. I’ve been in the IT industry for about 30 years and have seen everything that CRT LCD for small and medium / large / incomprehensible stuff. One thing the LCD screens is that no matter how one tunes the production, many of which produced clear ghost (look carefully – direct lines tend to rise, and the mysterious fog is about 3 millimeters to the right of the photo). I decided to go plasma, as this is a great cause, and because the image itself is not horrible seams.
The Viera do things that are incredible. The device is black in black – all Blacker, and there is no singularity involved. I waited until 6 / 24 to activate the HD programming, and did a quick comparison SpongeBob Squarepants. Standard definition, the image is the object, but you have to do to find them, because it is 600Hz subfield processing the image. In any case, in High Definition, the picture is not at all the objects, each line of comics is presented as it was played right on your screen! I can not go.
Color is not bright, but the image quality is much, much bigger than the older set. This unit, watching a HD is like watching a Kodachrome motion. You must really see it. The sound is not bad. Panasonic TC-P42X1 only a native 720p, but it is not clear to work on converting 1080p. Even so, this thing is like a geyser of cool mountain water in the Sahara.
Although the majority may be enough is installed on a VESA mounting plate. Use as many extenders as possible – otherwise, the shipyard is to manage the unit from the wall. Moreover, the image of full brightness, the screen is as warm as a handshake (from the 80’s, touch-sensitive terminals in plasma is usually too hot, is the touch). The picture is excellent visibility around 12 feet almost every corner. Three compact 100W equivalent to about 4 meters away disturbs the image, however, the anti-glare coating works. Lamps screen reflector bulbs, but only about one eighth of the screen is drowning the light, and the rest of the screen are not far behind, if any at all.
