A significant feature of the Panasonic TC-P42G10 600 Hz sub-field to drive high-speed video signal. The picture quality is very good, but the color should be further improved. It lacks even the design of the front panel, V10-series, but is still designed to fit in the eyes of the consumer. This is an extremely thin body, especially the edges. Deep black bezel is combined with the silver at the bottom edges. Panasonic TC-P42G10 is a new cycle now, but that is not reversible. The speakers are hidden... Read More

Excellent TV/Excellent value – By barryb (Boston, MA)
He had this TV about 2 months. Shipped promptly from Amazon – the best price on the web. Excellent image, color, clarity and motion blur! I have a sort of “techie” and a considerable amount of research on TV – LCD vs plasma. Bottom line: plasma is better blacks, better viewing angle is less motion blur in fast moving scenes, and much more value than a LCD. I was convinced of the LCD is better until I did research,... I’m looking for an HDTV. I imagine that prices will fall by then, I’m looking for some models: PN50B550 Samsung, Panasonic TC-P50G10, Panasonic TC-P42G10. I’m not sold on plasma or LCD. Will be a apartment, but I did not anticipate the reflections as a huge problem. They are very black, that looks like something really good. Any input or testimony would be great!
ANS: Plasmas delivery will be better blacks, better contrast and better color. Plasmas are intrinsically almost instantaneous... Read More

Finally can enjoy watching movies
Pro: color, clarity, no pixelation, great pictures, lots of ports. Satellite SD looks surprisingly good, everything seems better than my old CRT.
Cons: Runs hotter than LCD
Other thoughts: When I waiting to replace my old crt think that my old camcorder and DVD movies would look terrible on a 1080p screen. Wrong, it not only look good, everything seems better. Recommend this Panasonic TC-P42G10. Unable to get the PC interface to work but I think it problem with... Read More

Pro: The picture is excellent. I did not have some delay. I have started the break, but I have been a major image retention – which I found when searching, but I am using to make it clear, and it is still difficult, if not follow the maintenance they should be. I expect that it would be even better after the break in.
The colors were good. I am not the best judge of color, but the THX mode, I noticed a significant improvement, in general, I think you can get the most accurate colors possible,... Read More
